Last night, the Millbank Tower was lit up with an array of of 4D images and graphics when Deadmau5 performed a free concert in London.

The concert, organised by Nokia to promote their new phone the Lumia 800, transformed Millbank with graphics of the retro ‘snake’ game slithering on the tower.

Deadmau5 told the Nokia group: “Visuals have always been an important part of my shows, so the chance to work with Nokia and its projection team on a project of this scale and ambition is really exciting. It’s also great to be able to play such an iconic landmark and to a UK crowd”.

The crowds on either side of the river grew rapidly by the time Totally Extinct Enormous Dinosaurs performed the first act, playing their track Garden, which is currently in the UK charts.

After their performance, the real magic began. Various graphics were projected from the other side of the Thames onto the 120m Millbank Tower.

Crowds were stunned by the astonishing performance by Deadmau5, dawning the start of a new revolution of concerts.

Below is footage from the event and you can also check out Nokia’s exclusive celebrity filled gallery.
