The University Dance society (KUDS) has been holding a range of red nose day themed activities this week. The society has been encouraging fellow dancers and Kingston students to turn up to rehearsals dressed in red and donate to the cause. The week is culminating in a dance off outside M&S in Kingston town centre on Friday 13, March.

KUDS will be wearing red at the dance event and hope to catch passers-by as they challenge each other in a dance battle. Haleigh Sellors, the society fundraiser organised the event, she said: “We all get wrapped up in our own problems and day to day issues, especially being a student with deadlines and essays that we forget about others and their problems people who really need our help.

“This is why KUDS are going to Kingston town centre to get people in the community to be involved in this great event and show us their moves! Sometimes we all need reminding of how grateful we should be!” They’re also having a red nose day cake and biscuit decorating competitions from 12-4pm on Friday.
