A Christian society involved with universities across the UK is expecting miracles, encounters with God and students’ burning questions answered at their event this October.

Believers’ LoveWorld (BLW) have organised Youth for Christ London to show students that God is exciting and not just on Sunday mornings, with dance performances, music, drama, poetry and much more.

“The last Youth for Christ event in Scotland was a real eye opener for me,” said President of BLW Kingston Abim Anyiam. “Some Christians believe that God is only there to help them with their spiritual life and He does, but He gives you an excellent spirit which means that when you tap into that it will make you better in your craft, studies and university.”

The 21-year-old MSc student said free event is an opportunity to find out what your purpose is in life and a chance to “meet God” saying that “you won’t leave the same.”

BLW has societies based in over 10 universities across the UK including East London, Brighton and Leicester.

The heads of BLW Pastors Chris and Anita Oyakhilome have been reaching out to young people through magazines, audio and video tapes and books, including Rhapsody of Realities, to spread the message of God across the globe.

Youth for Christ takes place on Saturday 22 October from noon till 6pm at Unit 2 Standard Industrial Estate, Henley Road, North Woolwich, E16 2ES.

BLW based at Kingston University holds regular meetings on Tuesdays at 6pm in JG1010.
