Ebola outbreak in West Africa
Sierra Leone declared a state of emergency and called in troops to isolate Ebola victims. The outbreak of Ebola virus disease in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone is the worst ever, killing more than 700 people this year. The government requested that the Sierra Leone Red Cross take over dead body management. Dead body management includes preparing a body for transport from communities, or receiving a body from the MSF treatment centre, transporting the body to the burial site, and disinfecting the person’s house
