Oceana nightclub was host to yet another celebrity performance, this time from US rapper J Cole on Tuesday, after ‘Phat Nights’ returned to Kingston recently.
With a turnout of over 3,000 people, the club began refusing people admission to the club two hours before the normal time of last entry, with over 200 people still waiting outside.
J Cole arrived at the venue at around 1.30am after performing at Shepherds Bush Empire for his world tour (talk about being busy!). He gave a dynamic performance of a selection of songs from his debut album Cole World: The sideline story, but the crowd went crazy when he performed his latest single ‘Workout’.
The event was organised by ‘Phat Nights’ who have brought a number of big names to Oceana including Sean Paul, Lloyd and Kano, and was the official after party to J Cole’s earlier performance at Shepherds Bush Empire.
