It’s finally spring. Now that blue skies and sunshine are giving us a bit of pep in our step, it’s time to crack open our wardrobes and go for clothing that is slightly more… groundbreaking…

1. Bright Colours
Following nature’s lead, spring is a chance to let your wardrobe bloom. Pull out that vibrant jumper that has seemed out of place against the rain we’ve experienced this year. Perhaps chuck on some colourful tights which clash in a delightful way.

2. Romance
This can be interpreted in many ways. Think Mr. Darcy in his soaked white shirt water or a modern take on medieval style. Ruffles, sheer layers and flowing silhouettes have been seen floating down the runways.

3. New-school Prep
Preppy is in, and it’s all grown up. A mix of dark academia and classic prep with plenty of plaid, ties, button-down shirts worn in a way that says business, not school uniform.

4. Mismatched
There’s something so stylish about disorder. Be it well-worn jeans with a smart blazer, tracksuit bottoms with heels or pattern mixing. The way spring blooms is naturally chaotic, so why not mirror that with your clothes?

5. Personal perfection
One thing which has been emerging and is sure to stay strong is uniqueness. Fashion creators are moving towards items that can be worn in different ways, have interesting features or are more personal to them.
Whether you want to go for bold and bright, get a bit romantic or keep it classic, this season is a chance to reawaken your wardrobe from hibernation.
So, shake off the winter frost, put on your finest and step out with confidence this spring.
