The Christian society First Love UK held a choir concert named Come Home on the 28 September.

The event was held in Mustard Seed Church and was attended by a huge number of people.

“I really enjoyed the Come Home concert.”

“It was a blessing to see the Greater Love Gospel choir in a different setting from a Sunday service, and how everyone used their gifts so beautifully,” said Lahilton Antonio.

First Love UK has branches across England and globally, with societies in different universities in England including Kingston.

The concert followed the story of a young girl who was lost because she was distracted by worldly problems and the story ends with the young girl coming home to the Lord.

This story was told by First Love members who are part of the ministries Greater love gospel choir and Dancing Stars.

Antonio Said: “I loved being part of the concert and being able to support the choir in their event.”

“Getting fellowship with my church family during rehearsals and run-throughs and the privilege to be a part of something greater, that leads to the salvation of many souls.”

First Love holds many productions throughout the year, focusing on ministry, praise and worship.

Jodie Ndombele said: “When I Guess You Remember by First Love music was performed with the choreography, lights and everything.”

“I really wanted to be on that stage.”

As the choir ended with their finale song He reigns by the artist Kirk Franklin, there was a powerful closing message where many responded and prayed.

“The preaching and salvation at the end was a blessing,” said Antonio.
