The Kingston Christmas Market is bringing a festive buzz to the town, running from 14 November until 5 January.
Set across the Ancient Market Place and Alpine Village near All Saints Church, the market is packed with over 40 wooden stalls selling handmade gifts, festive decorations, and festive food.
The Alpine Village, which opened on 7 November, adds a cosy touch with its fire pits, vintage carousel, and festive atmosphere.
Visitors can browse stalls for unique items like personalised decorations from Xmas Castle, scented candles from Edwin Berry Candles, and hand-painted ceramics from La Luna Gifts.
Food lovers can enjoy treats like bratwurst, Yorkshire pudding wraps, and Belgian waffles. The Pyramid Stage Bar is perfect for warming up with mulled wine, hot chocolate, or spiced cider.
Live music has been a big part of the festive fun, with performances taking place daily at the Pyramid Bar Stage until the market closes.
Tuesdays have also been lively with Open Mic Nights starting at 6pm, giving musicians, singers, and comedians a chance to perform.
The Nutcracker Trail has been a hit with families. Running until 5 January, it challenges visitors to find 15 life-sized Nutcrackers hidden around town.
The first 300 people to complete the trail win a wooden tree decoration, and one lucky participant will win a Christmas hamper filled with treats from local businesses like LUSH, Hotel Chocolat, and John Lewis.
Santa’s Grottos have been a magical experience for children, located at places like Fenwick, The Bentall Centre, and Corner Stone.
Kingston Charitable Foundation has also been running pop-up charity stalls every weekend at Memorial Square, featuring organisations like Kingston Hive and RBKares. The stalls are open until 23 December and give visitors the chance to support local causes while enjoying the festive vibe.
