Tom Holland got an unexpected surprise, when his Kingston neighbour Stormzy, name dropped him in a few of his bars on his new track Mel Made Me Do It.

Stormzy’s lyric runs: “And now my nephews can’t believe that Spider-Man’s my bro. Shout Tom, that’s my guy, on top till we die.”

Many fans of both artists where surprised they were friends let alone neighbours.

Stormzy, 29, said having a neighbour like Tom Holland is the sickest flex and went on to describe him as a brother and a great guy.

They also shared the stage on The Graham Norton show three years ago, where the Spider-Man actor, 26, told Stormzy that they both live in Kingston and that his mum sees him walking his dog all the time.

It seems they have developed a strong friendship over the last three years with Stormzy saying in a recent interview that he would love to have a door in his garden leading to Tom’s house and that they go to the pub often.

During a recent interview with BBC Radio, the Blinded by Your Grace rapper called up Holland on FaceTime. Holland answered and said: “I have a CCTV video of me listening to your song for the first time because I didn’t know, mate I lost my mind, I was losing it.”

Stormzy is preparing to release his new album This is what I mean on November 25 which consists of 12 tracks and his first album in over three years.

Tom Holland on the other hand, has been enjoying his time on the golf course after a recent romantic getaway in Paris with his girlfriend and actress, Zendaya, 26.
