Kingston University Snow Sports (KUSS) have announced a new and exciting change to their annual trip. This year it will take place at Pas De La Casa in Andorra, Spain. The trip was influenced by previous successful trips, arranged by the society, to breathtaking locations such as Les Arcs and Val Thorens,

This is their first ever trip outside of the French alps. Members of KUSS are excited to travel to a new location and experience the “student friendly” resort as opposed to previous trips that have been in more family based areas.

Committee members have promised “wider slopes, no taxation, clubbing every single night and the best ski holiday experience you’ll ever have.”

The Pas resort, located in the Pyrenees, is known as a haven for European winter sports fans because of its snow flushed proximity and fantastic views.

The resort sits at an altitude of 2050m with the highest lift at 2640m making Pas the highest resort in the Pyrenees. Due to its superb location (and heavy investment in artificial snow making) Pas enjoys an excellent snow record complimented by plenty of blue skies and sunshine.

The trip takes place from the 19th-27th of April, with a base price of £369, which includes accommodation, travel and a 6 day ski lift pass for Pas De La Casa.

If you have never been before, the society strongly recommended that students invest in ski/snowboarding lessons with an instructor during to the trip. The lessons are designed to be fun, improve skiing ability quicker, and a sociable experience.
More information will be posted soon on their website and Facebook page.
