The plea hearing for the two men charged with causing the death of a Kingston University student by dangerous driving has been delayed by another month.
Farid Reza, 36, and William Spicer, 27, were charged with causing Hina Shamim’s death by dangerous driving last year.
Mr Reza, of Surbiton Road in Kingston, and Mr Spicer, of Somerville Road in Harrow, will now appear at the Old Bailey on October 25.
The plea hearing was previously postponed in July, when the lawyers for the two men appeared before Judge Richard Hone QC to ask for more time to process technical evidence.
Shamim was killed in a crash involving a BMW and a bus on Penrhyn Road on March 31 2015. Eight others were injured in the collision.
The 21-year-old was killed while she was crossing Penrhyn Road to hand in her final piece of coursework.
Miss Shamim, from Peterborough, was in her final year studying Sports Science and Nutrition.
She was described as a “lovely person” who loved Kingston and “felt it was her home” by friends and family following her death.
In memory of Miss Shamim, the Islamic Society at the university raised over £15,000. The money was used to build a water well in Pakistan and also put towards a housing project in the Philippines.
