The Union of Kingston Students (UKS) has scheduled a second meeting because The Big Student Meeting (AGM) ended before all proposed motions could be discussed and voted on by students.
The Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) will take place “due to the overwhelming number of motions at this year’s AGM.”
By having another meeting, it gives all students another chance to submit motions that if approved would be implemented by UKS.
Six motions that will be heard include one describing Kingston University as a “rip-off”, one defending refugees and migrants and another proposing consent classes.
The AGM will happen on March 9 in JG0001 at 4.30pm.
