James Arthur held a sold-out acoustic show at PRYZM Kingston this week organised by Banquet Records, with fans eager to see their favourite artist perform his new hits.

Arthur was celebrating the release of his fourth studio album, It’ll All Make Sense In The End, which debuted at number three in the official charts.

At the start of the show, Arthur made it clear that this was a “bespoke album event. If you are here just to hear Impossible, get out.”

The pop star from Middlesbrough rose to fame after winning The X Factor in 2012 at just 22-years-old.

The singer-songwriter began the show by singing his newest hits and was joined onstage by his pianist and guitarist throughout the one-hour acoustic set.

The emotions turned up a notch when Arthur sang his deeply personal song SOS, which talks about his desire to be saved from an unfulfilling life.

Many fans in the audience held up signs to Arthur saying, ‘You saved me’.

A fan in the audience said: “He needs to see this, so many of us have been through the same struggles as he has. His music literally saved my life.”

Towards the end of the show, Arthur began to perform some of his biggest hits such as Say You Won’t Let Go and Naked, which had every single fan singing along.

Before performing his last song, Arthur recalled winning The X Factor almost 10 years ago and thanked his fans for sticking with him all these years.

Arthur finished the set with Impossible, the number one single which led him to the success he holds today.

The talented artist said that he will be heading out on tour next year starting in March 2022. Tickets are already on sale on his website
