What we’re listening to: March 2013

Arts & Ents Editor James Garwood gives his thoughts on what to listen to this month.

After making a name for themselves on Britain’s Got Talent, the Rogues are back. Their new single is very similar to the likes of Olly Murs, only with cheekier lyrics. It’s very fun and upbeat, although their video to go alongside it won’t suit everyone.

Goat remixes aside, Taylor Swift is continuing her transition from country kid to popstar with new single 22. It’s a little sloppy compared to I Knew You Were Trouble but the coming of age nature of the song will make it a big summer hit.

The BRITs Critics’ Choice winner proves his worth with his new single Hold Me. The song will no doubt crop up everywhere over the next few months. It shows Odell is just getting better and better.

She is back with a new album and Little Boots means business. Her hypnotic style is without a doubt her trademark. Is this finally her time to shine and overtake the likes of Paloma Faith and Ellie Goulding?
