A Kingston University journalism graduate was shortlisted for The Guardian's best reporter award this year.
Harriet Osborne, 21, wrote a front page splash for The River about a student who was left for dead after a hit-and-run car accident in Ireland.
She was among five students from universities around the UK to be shortlisted for the best reporter prize.
Unfortunately, our KU graduate did not win the prize, but she is proud to have had her work recognised by such a prominent news organisation.
