KU students will have the opportunity to meet top employers and gain career advice at the Inclusive Futures virtual careers fair on November 2.

Employers such as Warner Bros, Discovery, Sky, Experian, and Barclays are taking part in the event which is part of the University’s autumn careers festival.

This fair offers an exclusive opportunity to network with established brands that could prove beneficial for future endeavours.

More importantly, it is free and you can attend online in the comfort of your home.

Kingston University student Sam Sheppard, who studies psychology, highlighted his reasons for attending the fair: “Ever since the pandemic, companies have been more data-driven, so I would be interested in finding out opportunities and jobs that I could apply for after graduating.”

The event will run from 11 am until 3 pm and after the event students can send companies a message, request a one-to-one video meeting, or even leave contact details for employers.

However, putting yourself forward to employers can be nerve-wracking, even online.  Syl-Anne Sannie Raymond has attended previous Inclusive Futures event and said: “Absorb everything around you and take those opportunities as they come.

“Don’t be too shy and don’t think you won’t get it, so you don’t apply, just apply anyway because you never know what could happen.”

All students are welcome at the event and the range of businesses participating makes it worthwhile as some of the participating companies are recognised globally.

To attend the fair you just need to register online.
