If you are looking for a place where you can find one of a kind artwork, jewellery, prints, ceramics and much more, Not my Beautiful House (NMBH) is the place to go.

Located at the Ancient Market House in Kingston town centre, NMBH offers work by over 30 talented Kingston University art students, graduates, alumni, and the local community available to purchase in store or online.

One of the artists who has her handmade pottery available at NMBH is Ellie Perry, a former Kingston University student who studied product and furniture design.

“It is such a great platform for students’ work and to give students a chance to see what it is like to have your work out there,” she said.

NMBH gives students the opportunity to see how stocking your design at a shop works and gives an insight into what people think of your work.

This makes it the perfect space for both first time sellers and experienced artists, to give them confidence in displaying their artwork and an opportunity to connect Kingston locals.

“You really have to believe in your work to put yourself out there and if you do that then other people will be interested, said Perry”.

All profits made and donations go towards keeping the space accessible for students and the local community, to continue to support small local businesses.

You can check out Not My Beautiful House on their website and social media accounts.

You can also browse Perry’s work on her website and social media @ellieperrydesign and at Norfolk Coffee Pedlar.
