Almost 60 per cent of Kingston University’s graduates find employment six months after their graduation, a survey has revealed.
Six months after they gained their first degrees at Kingston University, 46.4 per cent of the asked ex-students were working in full-time paid employment, which also included self-employment.
In contrast, 12.9 per cent of the newly-graduated professionals worked part-time only.
Unpaid workers
Fewer than four per cent of the former students engaged in voluntary or unpaid work, while only 14.4 per cent of graduates engaged in further study.
The survey was carried out by the UK’s Higher Education Statistics Agency in 2010 and 2011, only questioning former students who live in the UK.
