A new set of court filings, linked to Jeffrey Epstein were released on Wednesday and make reference to a range of celebrities and well-known people.

Referred to as “the list,” the documents referenced around 150 associates of the convicted sex traffickers, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Those referenced have not been accused of wrongdoing – for instance, some of the names included are those mentioned in passing as part of the court procedings.

Epstein was a millionaire convicted of sex offenses and known for his friendships with celebrities and politicians. The current court case has been brought by one of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Giuffre against Maxwell who is in prison for child sex trafficking for Epstein.

Prior to the recent documents being released, it was already known that Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump were associates of Epstein’s, often appearing in photos together.

However, the documents now show details of various other celebrities visiting the island, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Richard Branson, Michael Jackson, Kevin Spacey, George Lucas, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Campbell, Bruce Willis, Cameron Diaz, and Stephen Hawking.

These are only few names included in the 900-page document released last week in the defamation lawsuit against Maxwell, which judge Loretta Preska ruled in favour of unsealing.

Despite these names being released, none of those listed above have been accused of any wrongdoing related to Epstein.

Neither Clinton nor Trump have had any accusations against them, while Prince Andrew settled out of court with Giuffre. He has denied accusations of groping Johanna Sjoberg – another accuser.

Sjoberg also testified that Epstein told her “Clinton likes them young,” and Trump had said he likes beautiful women and “many of them are on the younger side”.
