Kingston rowing club will be holding a junior rowing course called ‘learn to row’ in a bid to train aspiring rowers.

Kingston rowing club will hold a junior rowing course from April 8 to 12 as they look to train the next generation of rowers.
The club announced that that they would be hosting an Easter KRC junior ‘learn to row’ course that will run for a week and will cost a total of £200.
The course will run from 10.00am to 16.00pm from Monday to Friday and will be introducing youngsters to all the basics of rowing.
What does the course involve?
The coaching team for the course will be lead by course leader Christopher Fox, who holds British rowing qualifications and is CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked.
Newcomers will be introduced to the boathouse, the equipment used by the various rowing teams, and boat and water safety.
The course will train future rowers in how to work as a team by building their strokes in the water and rowing in time as a crew to help build teamwork skills.
