Photo Gallery: BA Fashion voted fourth best in the world

Kingston’s BA Fashion has been listed as the fourth best university in the world by leading fashion website Fashionista.

KU first received the honour in Fashionista‘s list of the best fashion courses in the world in 2013 when the list was launched. They have managed to remain in fourth place for 2014, beating prestigious fashion universities such as Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and Instituto Maragoni in Milan.

“I am delighted to say we have maintained our position for a second year running,” said Elinor Renfrew, Course Director of BA Fashion. “This is an influential international website and the fact that three of our graduates have been invited as members of the Council for Fashion Designers of America further supports our reputation as a brand leader in America.”

She said the course has managed to retain a “healthy recruitment profile” despite increased fees, which has contributed to the success of the course.

Fashionista‘s profile on Kingston’s fashion course says candidly:

“Kingston doesn’t have as many famous alumni as some of the more high-profile UK fashion schools, but if you aspire to a senior role at a big company, it’s a good place to start.”
