Kingston narrowly won on Wednesday thanks to a last-gasp penalty.

A penalty kick by Craig Felston in the closing minutes of the match sealed an important victory for Kingston’s rugby firsts over Brighton’s seconds.
Kingston climbed to second place in the league after winning 15-12 in a match that could have easily gone either way.
Captain David Holby said: “We really wanted to go out there and show that we can turn the season around.”
Early lead for Kingston Cougars
Kingston got an early lead of 7-0 in the 11th minute with a try by Jake Stinson followed by a conversion by Felston. Brighton scored a try but still went into the half losing 7-5.
Ten minutes into the second half the visitors scored a try to take the lead after a dominant spell of possession.
Dan Phoenix gave a man of the match performance showed good hands throughout which led to a fantastic try on the 54th minute to tie the game.
“Dan is a fantastic player,” said Holby. “I don’t think I’ve seen him have a bad game.”
Kingston still lively after match
After tying the game Kingston looked a lot livelier than Brighton, which led to a thoroughly deserved penalty to win the game in the 77th minute.
Kingston’s coach Arran Cruikshanks said: “We started very well and then we just switched off and let them into the game.”
