Here’s what we can enjoy from rap group Griselda, Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and many more.

Griselda and BSF – Conflicted Soundtrack

Griselda (Westside Gunn, Conway, Armani Caesar, Boldy James and Benny the Butcher) team up with Benny’s Black Soprano Family for the soundtrack to their new movie Conflicted. Griselda as a collective is known for their relentless work output, this project is no exception. Expect gritty and visceral raps throughout. Perfect for a workout session.

Lana Del Rey – Chemtrails Over the Country Club

Indie darling Lana Del Rey recently released the second single from her seventh album of the same name. The song in question is a downtempo piano ballad. The track Chemtrails fits a similar sound and aesthetic to a couple of her previous releases such as ‘Let Me Love You Like a Woman’.

Justin Bieber – Anyone

Justin Bieber made a long-awaited comeback in 2020. The album Changes was supported by the lead single Yummy. Bieber also made a guest appearance in the Drake and DJ Khaled music video for Popstar. In the months since his comeback, Bieber has gifted fans with a new single. Anyone is a midtempo song with light orchestral and rock influences throughout its pop formula.

Zayn – Vibez

Former One Direction singer Zayn is back from his hiatus with a new song. The track in question is slated to appear on his upcoming third album. The project entitled Nobody Is Listening is expected to drop this Friday.

Jazmine Sullivan – Heaux Tales

Grammy-nominated R&B songstress Jazmine Sullivan recently released her first project in six years. Heaux Tales has received moderate acclaim across social media since its release. The project notably features guest spots from Anderson Paak, Ari Lennox and H.E.R.

Kings of Leon – The Bandit / 100,000 People

Storied rock group Kings of Leon have recently come out their four-year break with their new two-track single The Bandit / 100,000 People. The song features production similar to their previous work with a prominent electric guitar present on both tracks.

Playboi Carti – Whole Lotta Red

Playboi Carti had one of the most anticipated rap albums of 2020. Whole Lotta Red follows the success of its predecessor Die Lit. WLR dropped on Christmas Day and has been in playlists and adverts ever since. With talk of Carti following up the project with a deluxe version very soon, all eyes remain on the album.

Taylor Swift – Evermore (Deluxe)

After ascending the charts with her successful album Folklore in 2020, Swift has blessed fans with another project. Musically, the LP follows Swift’s current alt-rock and muted pop approach. In spirit, Evermore is the yin to Folklore’s yang released in December of 2020. This past week, Swift fans rejoiced as she dropped a deluxe edition with two new songs.
