Zendaya sent Twitter into another frenzy recently when she gracefully returned to the red carpet at the NAACP Image Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards wearing not one but four outfits.

Each one of them was just as stunning as the last. She wore a beautiful pink
Valentino rose dress and then slipped into a slinky Giorgio Armani dress, and not to mention her gorgeous black and green Versace dress.

Zendaya knows how to turn heads and working alongside her superstar stylist Law Roach, makes her a modern-day fashion icon.

But it is not just her impressive wardrobe that gets people talking about the 26-year-old Euphoria actress, it is her calm and down to earth personality which makes people fall in love with her.

Bursting onto our screens in the 2010s with her popular Disney show Shake It Up, Zendaya has worked her way up to become a household name. Not only is she unbelievably gorgeous but she can sing, act, dance and is just incredibly talented.

With a grace and elegance about her she could be a modern-day Audrey Hepburn for young Gen-Zers to look up to.

Though she does not see herself as an ‘activist’, Zendaya does care about most societal issues especially when it comes to feminism.

Speaking to The Female Lead two years ago, The Spiderman star talked about how proud she was that her character MJ was not your typical damsel in distress and showed that female characters have “control of their own destinies and narrative”.

She later added that she sees herself as an ‘intersectional feminist’ as she
advocates for all women and not just certain types of women based upon their background, class etc.

She has also opened up about her struggles with anxiety to British Vogue in their 2021 October issue and how she learnt how to manage it by going to therapy, which she regards as “a beautiful thing”.

“You know there’s nothing wrong with working on yourself and dealing with those things with someone who can help you,” she said.

Her portrayal of Rue in the hit teen show Euphoria, has shone a light on black
mental health which is rarely seen in the media.

Despite being the mega talented woman that she is, Zendaya plans to become a director but wants her leads to be black women as representation is so important in the industry.

She is also dating Hollywood’s rising star and fellow Kingston resident, Tom
Holland. But Zendaya is so much more than that she is a daughter, sister, aunt, anbinnovator, an icon and a role model.
