Mind, body and soul with Kingston University’s Yoga Society

The new Yoga Society is offering KU students a chance to get a break from stress.

New to Kingston this year, the Yoga Society offers an escapism from the tires and stresses that university life brings. Run by biomedical student Venetia Galanaki, the society brings you weekly yoga classes to nourish the mind, body and soul. The classes take place in the evenings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and suit all abilities. You can find details on their classes by visiting their Facebook page.

Galanaki tells Amelia Cunningham why the sessions are good for KU students and is convinced that once you try it, you’re going to keep coming back for more.
